(3rd-6th Grade)
Camp ICS is a summer camp ministry of Intermountain Christian School (ICS) catering to children from 3rd-6th grade. The camp runs for ten weeks of the summer from June 3 - July 29th, 2024. For kiddos PreK to 2nd grade, Check out Camp ICS Jr.
How to register for camp
Step 1: Complete a general registration passing along basic information on your child, shirt size, allergies, etc.
Step 2: Complete your registration, sign up for a specific week or weeks you want to participate in

Week of June 30th: No Camp!
Camp timeframe: 9am-3pm M-F
Earliest campers can arrive: 7:30am
Latest campers can leave without paying for aftercare: 3:15pm
Latest campers can leave with paying for aftercare: 5:30pm

What to Wear to Camp
Close-toed shoes that are good for running
Clothes that are suitable for playing inside and outside during the summer
Clothes that do not display vulgarity or advocate for causes contrary to the teachings of the Bible
What to Bring to Camp
Backpack or a tote
Cold lunch that does not need to be microwaved
Water bottle
Snack (campers who stay for after care will be provided a second snack)
Sunscreen, sun glasses, and a hat (if desired for outdoor activities)
Modest bathing suit to change into and towel (for Wednesdays only)

Week of June 3
Theme #1: Ocean Wonders
Campers, dive into the deep blue sea with Mrs. Smith, ICS’s amazing Kindergarten teacher! Get ready to explore what lies beneath the ocean waves, discover all the incredible sea creatures, and learn how they help keep the ocean awesome. You’ll paint, make fun crafts, and dive into exciting underwater lessons about God’s amazing creation beneath the waves. It’s going to be a splashin’ good time! Let’s make some waves together!
Theme #2: Cloud Chasers
Hey campers! This week, get ready for an incredible adventure with future pilot, Mr. Gutzwiller, as we soar to new heights in the world of planes! You’ll discover all the cool parts of a plane and how they work together to fly high in the sky! We’ll blast off into aviation history, make elite paper airplanes for a flying contest, take on the egg drop parachute challenge, and even design your very own plane! It's going to be a high-flying week full of fun, learning, and tons of surprises! Don’t miss it!
Week of June 9
Theme #1: Olympics
Get ready for Olympics Week! It’s all about fun, games, and competition! Create your own team flag, compete in awesome challenges, and win epic prizes! Join ICS alumni, Polina Stoddard, as you push yourself to go for the gold! Are you ready to bring your A-game and become a champion? Let the games begin!
Theme #2: American Girl Doll
Girl Campers! Grab your American Girl Dolls and get ready for a super fun week all about Samantha Parkington’s history! Led by our preschool aide, Miss Matusak. You’ll dive into Samantha Parkington’s incredible stories and learn all about the adventures she’s had. Plus, you’ll master beautiful hairstyles that were very popular in her time! Ending the week with a tea party sounds like it’s going to be a week of creativity, history, and tons of doll fun. Don’t miss out!
Week of June 16
Theme #1: Lego
Campers, get ready for Lego Week! This week is all about building amazing creations, unleashing your creativity, and letting your imagination run wild with one of the most fun pastimes ever, Legos! Join Mr. Baskett as you dive into the amazing world of Legos and create something totally epic! Let the building begin!
Theme #2: Basketball
Hey Campers! Get ready for an awesome week with Mr. Strahan as you jump into one of the best sports in the world, Basketball! You will learn all the fundamentals, practice drills, play competitive games, and even win some prizes at the end of the week! This week will be packed full of fun, competition, and plenty of slam dunks! Let’s hit the court and make this a week to remember!

Theme #1: Hiking
Hey campers, lace up your hiking shoes and get ready for an exciting adventure exploring the trails around Camp’s homebase! Join ICS Spanish teacher, Mrs. Guy, as you trek through nature, discover new places, and create awesome memories along the way! It’s going to be an unforgettable journey. Let’s hit the trail and explore together!
Theme #2: Art
Get ready, young artists! Join art enthusiast, Miss Talbot, as we explore the extraordinary world of art, one of the oldest and most creative ways to express yourself! You’ll get to try your hand at drawing, painting, sketching, while getting to enjoy some fun art games along the way! This week is going to be full of color, creativity, and tons of fun! Let’s create some art together!
Week of July 7
Theme #1: Asian Cultures
Campers! This week we have an immersive experience for you, delving into the world of Asian Cultures. You will take part in virtual field trips, learning new languages, crafts, native foods, dances, games, and so much more! It will be a fantastic week learning about various cultures and experiences in Asia! Join Mrs. Lee on a trip to the other side of the globe!
Theme #2: Theater
This week is theater week! Campers will spend their time learning the fundamentals of acting, singing, and dancing. We will be working towards a production, performed at the end of the week for the other campers to enjoy! Campers will learn to work together through interactive games and rehearsals. Join ICS students, Miss Schumacher and Miss Begg, for a drama-filled week!
Week of July 14
Theme #1: Baking
Calling all future bakers! Join ICS alumni, Polina Stoddard, as she takes you on a sweet adventure into the world of baking! You’ll learn how to measure ingredients like a pro, create your very own cookbook full of tasty treats, and whip up some delicious desserts that will make everyone say "YUM!" This week is going to be a blast! Let’s bake up some fun and lots of yummy surprises!
Theme #2: Space
Campers, get ready to blast off into Space Week! This week, you’ll learn all about planets, stars, galaxies, and everything in between! We’ll have tons of fun with space-themed crafts and explore the amazing beauty beyond our world. Join Mrs. Lee as she takes you on a cosmic adventure into another solar system! It’s going to be an out-of-this-world week!

Theme #1: Nail Salon
Hey Girls, it's time to get polished up! This week, you'll learn all the tricks of the trade to make your nails look amazing—from prepping and painting to getting creative with your designs! You’ll even discover the fascinating history behind nail painting and where it all began! Whether you're painting your own nails or someone else's, this week is all about expressing yourself through nail art! Join Nail Technician, Adyson Smith, for this fun week of creativity!
Theme #2: Flag Football
Campers, it’s time to kick off an amazing week of American Football! This week, you'll learn all the fundamentals of the game, practice awesome drills, and get ready to thrive in competition! You’ll play tons of flag football games, dive into the history of the sport, and have a blast! Join High School History teacher, Mr. Tucker, for a week full of fun, teamwork, and football excitement! Let’s get in the game!
Week of July 28
Theme #1: Slime
Campers, get ready for a slime-tastic week! Each day, you’ll dive into the world of slime, creating different kinds with all sorts of fun colors and materials! Whether it's stretchy, squishy, or oozy, you’ll explore it all! Join Makenna Stoddard, your slime leader and instructor, for a week full of messy, gooey, and super fun slime-making!
Theme #2: Gardening
Campers, grab your gardening gloves and get ready to dig into an awesome week of planting and gardening! This week, you’ll learn all the cool secrets of how to grow your own food, take care of your plants, and maybe even start your own garden someday! Join Mrs. Heile as you dig, plant, and watch your green thumb grow! Let’s make this week a bloomin’ good time!
FAQs
Will my camper participate in both themes offered each week?
No. Your camper will choose to participate in one of the two themes.
Will my camper participate in the weekly theme all day long?
No. They will spend 1.5 hours participating in the theme and the rest of the day is filled with a field trip, group games, and other fun activities.
Will my camper participate in activities with PreK-2nd graders?
No. Camp ICS Jr. (PreK-2nd) is a separate camp from Camp ICS (3rd-6th). Activities are designed specifically for your camper's age group.
Are 3rd-6th grade campers in a group all together?
For the first part of the day campers are broken up into 3rd-4th graders and 5th-6th graders. In the afternoons, 3rd-6th grade campers take part in field trips together.
What are the counselor to camper ratios?
There is at least one counselor for every thirteen campers. Each group of campers will have two counselors and no more than twenty-five campers.
Can I register my camper register for individual days?
Yes.
Can I register my camper for half days?
No.
Can I be refunded for days I keep my camper home?
If you give one week's notice of cancellation, you will receive a full refund. Otherwise, your payment will not be refunded.
Do I have to pay for everything up front?
The preliminary registration fee of $10 is due immediately. The fee for each week of camp is due seven days before that particular week of camp begins.
Does my camper have to attend ICS to go to camp?
No. In the summer of 2024, 71% of our campers were not ICS students.
