2023-2027
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” These words from Proverbs 16:3 are important as we commit our vision for Intermountain Christian School to the Lord and ask that he continues to establish our plans in ways that are greater than we can ask or imagine for His glory.
We have spent much time listening to the insights of parents, teachers, and students as to what they love about ICS, and what we might change or add in order to establish a future of excellence for our school. Through all of this, it is our hope that our new strategic plan will be based upon a vision that honors the legacy of the ICS mission while calling us to grow to serve Christian students and families in ever expanding ways.
Pillars and Steps
Our plan places a new vision statement above four pillars of purpose as prominent focal points in our strategy. Each pillar of purpose is important to our mission, and each one is crucial to the future of pursuing great things for ICS. Leading out from our pillars of purpose, you will find 24 distinct strategic steps (see below). Each step is related to insights taken from conversations and surveys provided by our stakeholders. They are all important in pursuing a vision for growing excellence in every area of life and learning at ICS.
In partnership with families, we disciple students toward excellence, joyful curiosity, and biblical faithfulness - building the school of choice for Christians in the Salt Lake Valley.
