Field Studies

High School students at ICS are afforded the opportunity to participate in annual field studies trips in the spring. The senior class is in charge of planning their own senior trip and the remaining grade levels are able to choose from four trips planned by the faculty. Field studies is an educational experience that contributes to academic learning as well as community building. In addition, participating students receive .25 credit toward graduation requirements. Past location examples include Arizona, California, Canada, Idaho, Massachusetts, Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Wyoming. The cost of these trips is included in tuition and classes begin fundraising for their senior trip during their junior year.
