A Musical Theatre Workshop - Presenting SPOTLIGHT

About the camp:

Come be a part of this amazing five day camp that includes singing, acting and dance culminating in a performer showcase and musical production!

9:00am-3:30pm

Performances:

Showcase: Thursday, July 29 at 3:00pm

SPOTLIGHT performances: Friday, July 30 at 1:00pm and 7:00pm

Intermountain Christian School Black Box Theater (6515 S. Lion Lane, Salt Lake City, UT 84121)

Ages: 

Stage Struck is for 11-16 year olds or rising 6th-11th graders. This camp is also designed to challenge both beginners as well as seasoned performers.

  • All camp cost includes training and instruction, professional accompanist, professional headshot, most costume needs, snacks, audition song and monologue, and a role in the musical theater review SPOTLIGHT.  Camp cost does NOT include personal costume needs (i.e. shoes) and lunch.

  • Students do not need to be enrolled at ICS to enroll in the workshop

  • Please note the workshop will cap at 20 applicants

  • Stage Struck is directed by Tess Tally, artistic director of Stage Struck and Intermountain Christian School theater director

  • Need not be enrolled at ICS to be a part of this camp

About the Director:

Tess Tally is happy to be bringing Stage Struck to Utah! Tess holds a B.M.E. from Belmont University in Nashville, TN and now resides in Sandy. She is currently the director of theater at Intermountain Christian School. She has taught and directed vocal music and theater privately and in schools and churches as well as directed tour groups, art academies, community and repertory theaters. As a singer and actress, she has performed in many professional productions and in all fifty states and overseas. Tess is the founder of Stage Struck, which originated in Cincinnati Ohio and is now operating in two states over twenty years later. Tess has a passion for building self-esteem through the performing arts.
